My Experience
I have over 25 years’ experience working with and supporting people to help them meet their goals. Therapy can transform your life and provide a range of resources that you can continue to use daily, whether it is running late for a train or for larger-than-life issues. I believe that everyone should try and find the time to pause and reflect on where they are in life.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified Psychotherapist and specifically hold an Advanced Integrative Diploma (Distinction) in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT) recognised and accredited by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and recognised by the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I am also a qualified coach, and hold an Advanced Diploma in Life Coaching (ALC), recognised by the ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists). I am also trained in other therapeutic interventions that I use in my work and my main current area of continued personal development (CPD) is research and study into the brain, the body and mental health with the Open University.

Rational Emotional Behavioural Therapy (REBT) is commonly at the core of the work as it is a very effective therapeutic intervention. A core concept of REBT is the specific model. This model explains how, while we may blame external events for our unhappiness, it is our perception of these events that lies at the heart of psychological distress. REBT is grounded in the idea that people generally want to do well in life and reach their goals.
What I Treat
Client symptoms may be cognitive, emotional, or physical, or a combination of these and the work is to help you develop awareness of yourself and start working towards a healthier you. I treat many areas and you can read up on these in more details under the “areas I cover” section.
