My Experience
I have over 25 years’ experience working with and supporting people to achieve their goals. Therapy can transform your life, providing a range of practical tools you can use daily—whether dealing with the daily sensory overload of running late for a train or navigating much larger life challenges. I firmly believe that everyone deserves the time and space to pause, process, and reflect on where they are in life.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified Psychotherapist and hold an Advanced Integrative Diploma (Dist.) in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT). This qualification is fully accredited by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) of which I have been a continuous accredited member of since 2020.
I am also a qualified coach and hold an Advanced Diploma in Life Coaching (ALC), accredited by the ACCPH. To deepen my practice, I completed a BSc (Hons) with the Open University, covering modules across the brain, mind, body, mental health, philosophy, and research. I complement this foundation with ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
How I Work
I offer a relaxed space to transform your insights into actual change. Blending REBT, Counselling and Coaching helps strip away the habits and thoughts creating emotional blocks. I focus on clear, structured steps that match your unique way of thinking—allowing you to safely drop the mask, overcome burnout, and build practical tools to regain control.
Reaching out takes courage, and I completely get that. My approach is honest, collaborative, and entirely transparent. There are no hidden expectations or pressures here; you can safely drop the mask. Whether you are navigating intense burnout, general life stress, or the unique challenges of neurodivergence, I am not here to offer regular and standard, one-size-fits-all therapy, I am here to work boldly alongside you, giving you the real, honest support you need to create lasting change!
Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT) is typically at the core of my approach because it is such an effective, adaptable intervention. A central concept of REBT is its specific framework: it explains that while we often blame external events for our distress, it is actually our internal perception of these events that lies at the heart of psychological overwhelm. Ultimately, REBT is grounded in the belief that everyone naturally wants to thrive, navigate the world authentically, and reach their true potential.
What I Treat
Challenges can show up cognitively, emotionally, physically, or as a combination of all three, often impacting how our unique nervous systems respond to stress. Our work together is designed to help you develop deeper self-awareness, validate your experiences, and start building a healthier, more balanced life. I support clients across a wide range of needs, which you can read about in more detail under the “Areas I Cover” section.
